Tractor Ted was inspired by our children who, at his creation, ranged from 0-6. At this age our children were fascinated by tractors, machinery, animals and really anything to do with farms. David, a Somerset farmer, was keen to show children the importance of modern-day farming and myself, Alexandra, mother of three, was desperate to find a programme that fulfilled my children desires - to see REAL tractors and farm animals.
